Dear, we apologize for not responding as promptly as we used to by telephone or e-mail correspondence. It is not within our human capabilities.Please keep in mind that you-parents know best how your child is behaving, how sick he/she is and how desirable and necessary it is to go to the doctor IMMEDIATELY. You decide. Isolating the sick in the doctor’s office is not conceivable at the moment and therefore you will meet other sick children here too.

In view of the extreme increase in sick children, I recommend:

  1. Consider very carefully whether your child’s condition requires urgent treatment. Give your child a resting and drinking regime. A healthy light diet, vitamins. In case of fever, antipyretics in appropriate dosage.
  2. In case of gastrointestinal problems i.e. vomiting, diarrhea, start dietary measures immediately. Buy probiotics and follow a drinking regime.
  3. In case of cough, buy cough suppressants in the pharmacy – expectorants – Hedelix, Prospan, Mukosovan, Ambrobene, ACC syrup and administer them according to the pharmacist’s advice.
  4. Take care of the baby’s nose. Teach the child to sniff. Suction if necessary. Buy drops or sprays to moisten the nasal mucosa.
  5. At home, ventilate frequently, humidify the air.
  6. If you have escalating discomfort, a cough that is not getting better, diarrhea that is not getting better, vomiting, unusual rash, earache, stomachache, fever that is not responding to medication, of course, contact the doctor, or come to the office during afternoon office hours or to the 24-hour pediatric emergency room outside of our office hours. Please keep in mind that the physician and medical staff decide the order of patients. For non-emergency conditions and without an appointment, you may wait hours in the office at a time.
  7. If you have a problem that requires urgent treatment, call the ambulance. These are life-threatening conditions – breathing difficulties, hyperpyrexia – i.e. fever above 40st C that does not respond to medication, convulsions, apathy or alteration of general condition, injuries, burns, suspected and suspected poisoning, severe allergic reactions.

Dear parents, in our outpatient clinic patients who are invited in advance have priority. We are available daily during office hours on the telephone number 222 511 658. It is possible to order an examination, after consultation, daily between 9-10 and 12-13 hours.Patients with an Individual Care Program can also contact us at the following email addresses: info@childfriendly.cz and doctor@childfriendly.cz. Please also provide a telephone number where you can be reached, we will contact you if necessary.In case of urgent problems, outside our office hours, you will be given non-stop pediatric surgery / emergency room of these Prague hospitals FN Motol, VFN Ke Karlovu, VFN Vinohrady, Faculty Thomayer Hospital Krč.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION Our goal is to provide quality health care to all our patients in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other patients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed appointments. When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other patients. In order to be respectful of your fellow patients, please our office as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call or send an e-mail at least 24 hours in advance.  Appointments are in high demand, and your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment time.In either case or a „no-show“, we will charge the patient a missed appointment fee

From 1.10. 2015 we have been utilizing an online reservation system which can be found here. All clients are automatically notified for recommended preventative check ups and vaccinations.

For the full use of the online system, clients must become members of the CHILD FRIENDLY program. The main benefits to the paid portion of the program is access to arranging client convenient timeframes for online reservation of visits. We ask members that they use the online reservation system only for arranging visit. Access details will be submitted via email.
