Notes

Mandatory vaccinations are fully covered by insurance. As a part of the mandatory vaccination programme, it is possible to substitute one vaccination brand or type, with another recommended by the doctor and which is listed by the Ministry of Health as applicable (in corr. with § 47 Zákona č. 258/2000 public health). This substitute must be registered in the Czech Republic and any additional costs are to be covered by the parents.

News:

* Delay in timely application of second round vaccines against measles, mumps, rubella (MMR vaccines) to a later age

* Based on the results from the national serological data and current epidemic situation, the application of MMR vaccinations should be concluded by the 7th year of age, or exactly the end of year 7 and surely by year 8.

* Defining the latest term for application of the first MMR vaccine. For basic first MMR vaccination, the latest term should be within the first 18 months of the child.
